The device is manually activated by you, just like pointing a remote control at a TV. A depress of the button produces a loud ultra sonic sound that dogs can hear but humans cannot. The dog hears a sound that lasts only 1-2 seconds and will startle the dog.

HOW TO USE THE DAZER II BARKING DOG DEVICE
- Point the Dazer II in the direction of the dog or approaching dog.
- Press and activate for 1 to 2 seconds.
- If necessary repeat to stop the backing dog or to deter the approaching dog.
Other uses for Dazer II
The Dazer II can be used in training and conditioning situations such as quieting barking dogs, keeping pets off furniture and to reinforce commands. The Dazer II can be used from a distance of up to 7 meters. The Dazer II can be used in conjunction with normal verbal or hand commands as reinforcement or to interrupt bad behaviour.
