If a dog is barking too much, contact your local council. You can reach them through their website, phone, or email. Give the dog owner’s address and explain when and how long the barking happens. The council will check the complaint and may issue a warning or fine if it breaks local laws.

Cairns Council can only take action regarding nuisance barking if it established that the barking noise is unreasonable.
