TAS Councils: Solutions to Problem Barking and Nuisance Dogs
If a dog is barking excessively in Tasmania, you should report the issue to your local council. We have a list below for you to research and contact them. When submitting a complaint, provide the dog owner’s address and describe when and how often the barking occurs. The council will assess the situation and may issue a warning, investigate further, or take enforcement action under the Dog Control Act 2000 if the barking is found to be causing a nuisance.
